Vastas started to deliver the 1700 pieces lot to Star Refinery. For this lot, which includes over a thousand type of different items, Vastas created a project team. The delivery and acceptance tests of these mostly tailor-made valves are expected to continue until January 2020.
SOCAR Turkey Aegean Refinery (STAR) is a private-sector founded refinery investment in Petkim Peninsula in Aliağa, Turkey. It is a “High Complexity High Conversion Oil Refinery” with 10 million tons per year crude oil processing capacity. The total storage capacity of 1.640.000 m3 with 63 tanks. Star Refinery is a very important project for Turkey, as its expected to reduce the current account deficit of imports, by meeting the 25% of refined petroleum product needs.
